U-Pick Common Questions
What do I need to bring to pick sunflowers?
We will provide a bucket for you to pick sunflowers, but it's a good idea to bring your own clippers incase we run out flower clippers that we can lend you.
Do we need to bring clippers?
You are more than welcome to bring your own clippers, but we can provide you with clippers at the register.
SAFETY
We want you to have an enjoyable experience, so we do our very best to make sure the grass is cut in our sunflower fields. Because the ground is uneven, it's a good idea to wear good walking shoes like sneakers or good walking sandals. Take your time and please do not run with clippers in hand!
Do you have pre-picked sunflowers?
YES, we have fresh cut sunflowers available daily (during sunflower growing season), but please call before coming to be sure we haven't sold out for the day (717) 564-3130.
Are pets allowed in the U-Pick sunflower fields?
NO, pets are not allowed in the pick your own areas for health and food safety reasons.
